Formats for people
Talk-to-camera, street walk and home workout formats are built for a person. Filter by People, pick one, and add a clear front-facing photo.
What gives the best likeness
A sharp photo, even light, no sunglasses or heavy filters, and a face that is clearly visible from the shoulders up. Side-on photos are harder to match.
Consent comes first
Only use photos of yourself or of people who agreed. Never use the tool to imitate someone who has not agreed, to swap faces of public figures, or to mislead viewers about what is real.
Frequently asked questions
Can I swap a face into my own video?
No. You can only use our reference videos. We do not allow uploading a source video, which prevents face swaps into other people’s footage.
Can I use a celebrity photo?
No. Public figures and anyone who has not agreed are not allowed. Use your own photo or one from someone who said yes.
Why does the face look a little different?
Likeness depends on the photo. Try a sharper, front-facing photo with even light.
Does it keep the voice?
The tool generates a new video without cloning anyone’s voice. Add your own audio in an editor if you need it.
Is it okay to put a real person in a clone?
Only with their agreement. Use photos of yourself, or of people who have clearly said yes. Do not use the tool to imitate someone who has not agreed, to swap faces of public figures, or to make sexual or misleading content. We may refuse or remove results that break these rules.
Only upload people who agreed, and only remix videos you have the right to use.
